Regional Synergies in Engineering & Society (RSES), a non-profit open-access scientific journal, is founded on the principles of openness, interdisciplinarity, and integrity in research. We recognise the importance of transparent communication of peer-reviewed knowledge and the global nature of today’s scientific enterprise. The free exchange of ideas between researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and policy makers is essential for advancing innovations that serve society and contribute to sustainable development.
That is why RSES provides free access to all peer-reviewed research content and does not require copyright transfer from authors. Instead, authors grant RSES an exclusive license to publish their work, ensuring that their intellectual property remains protected while enabling the widest possible dissemination of knowledge.
Our philosophy is based on international standards of research integrity, including the Singapore Statement on Research Integrity, the COPE Ethical Guidelines, and the CSE White Paper on Promoting Integrity in Scientific Journal Publications. We are committed to upholding the values of transparency, fairness, and academic responsibility at every stage of the editorial and publishing process.
Through this approach, RSES strives to become not only a platform for publishing high-quality interdisciplinary research but also a catalyst for dialogue, collaboration, and practical change in the fields of engineering, digital transformation, sustainable production, and social technologies.
