License Agreement

For all articles published in the Regional Synergies in Engineering & Society (RSES) journal, the CC BY license (Attribution) is applied. Under the terms of this license, “you must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use” (from https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

The RSES requires that, before manuscript acceptance, authors sign a license agreement granting the journal the right to publish and distribute their work. Authors retain copyright of their articles and are allowed to use their published works freely, including for commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given, as described in the author guidelines accompanying the license form. Authors should carefully review this information before signing the agreement.

Authors sign an exclusive license agreement, under which the author retains copyright to the Work. A sample license agreement can be downloaded below.
